I have the 2004 edition, and it's quite handy. Though this is a commercial catalog of works to which B&H holds the rights, it has information about works whose existence you may never have suspected, especially very recent compositions. You have heard of "The Divorce of Figaro" by Giselher Klebe? The catalog lists: The date of the premiere of the original edition and of the current edition; scoring; roles and voices; time and place; a synopsis; and the catalog numbers of the versions for sale. Often there is a photo of a staged presentation in costume. Now that you know that an opera exists, you can google it for more details. 309 pages. Inasmuch as this is a sales catalog, I would have thought B&H could furnish it at a merely nominal price.
